Privacy Policy

Jumprope Counter, by CW&T. Effective August 28, 2026.

The short version

Everything stays on your iPhone. Jumprope Counter has no accounts, no analytics, no ads, no tracking, and no servers. We collect nothing.

Microphone

The app listens for the sound of your rope hitting the ground to count jumps. Audio is analyzed in memory, in real time, on your device. It is never recorded to disk, never stored, and never transmitted anywhere. The short calibration clip you record is kept on your device only, and only so you can play it back and tune detection.

Motion

When the accelerometer backup is on, motion data is used on-device to help confirm jumps. It is not stored or transmitted.

Health

With your permission, the app reads body metrics (like weight) from Apple Health to estimate calories, and can save your jump-rope workouts to Health. Health data never leaves your device except through Apple Health itself, which you control in the Health app. We have no access to it.

Your session history

Jump counts, rates, and session stats are stored locally on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes them.

Third parties

There are none. No third-party SDKs, no data sharing, no sale of data.
